I have been fishing Itasca County and Cass County area lakes for over forty years. I grew up just five miles east of Lake Winnie, spending many days and evenings fishing it and the other area lakes.

I specialize in guided walleye fishing trips and can also arrange trips for jumbo perch, pan fish, northern pike and muskie fishing on Lake Winnibigoshish as well as many other area lakes.

I am a fully insured fishing guide and a licensed EMT. This enables me to guide large and small groups as well as family fishing trips with confidence.

I continually update my fishing knowledge; in 2009 I had the opportunity to learn many new techniques while fishing with tournament professionals during the AIM Professional Fishing Tournament held on Lake Winnie.

My clients not only catch fish but learn about fish species and local wildlife and history as well. You will be fishing out of a current model 20' Lund 1975 Pro-V boat equipped with a Mercury motor and the latest electronics. My service provides all the life jackets, bait, and tackle, including rods and Shimano reels, or you can use your own rod and reel if you prefer.

All you need to bring is a current Minnesota fishing license, sun screen and sun glasses, a rain suit or warm clothes, your own food and beverages and a camera. A camera is always available on the boat but you might want to use your own to capture the memories and beautiful scenery that you will enjoy while fishing. As an additional option, I can provide a shore lunch with full day trips. There is nothing better than cooking up your morning catch over an open fire.
